Books in the Garden: Preparing for Spring

Welcome to my new blog Books in the Garden, where I talk about adventures in gardening and the current books I’m reading. Because everyone knows the best place to read a book is in nature!

Brr, it’s cold out here in Colorado. It’s been snowing about every weekend, but you can smell spring getting closer every day. Only 10 more days to go until spring is upon us! Unfortunately, we will be looking at snow until May.

I simply can’t wait for the weather to agree with my mood, so to kick off the new blog and the new season, I have started a few projects indoors. I will be keeping a log of projects and experiments that I am doing indoors and out, including garden tips and tricks, and a dose of nature and environmental topics.

I’d love to hear about your garden interests this year! Tell me what you’re planning on working on or what you’re planning to grow. What are your hopes for spring?
